Winkos

Eddy and Gosia finally moved to Poland in 2012 after a couple of years hopping backwards and forwards between here and the UK (to earn more money)

The dream is to build a straw bale house and become as self sufficient as possible, leading a sustainable lifestyle without putting pressure on an already over stretched planet. We hope to rent out rooms in the future so that people can explore the area, culture and experience a taste of the good life; Agro Turystyka as they would say in Poland. Hopefully more on livestock and growing our own crops next year when the spring arrives and I’m sure there will be more on the DIY projects that I try to complete as well as finishing the house.

Work started in 2009 and the house should be completed by the end of 2014 ‘Before the Blog’ covers the majority of work to date, but this blog tracks what goes on a weekly and sometimes daily basis. We are always very happy to hear your comments, good or bad.
