• About me: Hi, I'm Jen - traveler, hiker, adventure seeker, and photographer. For the past 8 years, I’ve been exploring our beautiful planet and documenting my travels. I've been to over 40 countries, and I'm only just beginning. Travel has had such a positive impact on my life that I wanted to share my experiences. While I am originally from Chicago, I've lived in France, the UK, and Switzerland. I am currently in France (for the second time) and applying for dual citizenship. But I haven’t always been a traveler. In fact, I did not leave the US until I was 28. With a bachelor’s degree in chemistry, I pursued a Ph.D. in the same field. I focused more on my career than my happiness. And it left me completely miserable. In the little free time I had, I would dream of venturing into the unknown and exploring exotic places. Then, as fate would have it, I was offered a job in Switzerland. I packed my bags, and the rest was history. I found my happiness in travel and I learned to live every day to the fullest.
