As Soup As Possible is a blog based on soup as a metaphor of cosiness, nutritiousness and sharing. The blog has a broad approach to food involving different points of view beyond the merely gastronomic one. The starting point is that food means nothing without relationships: it’s an element that connects us with our memories, the people we love, and puts us in relation with both nature and culture. That's why soup is its symbol: soup is probably the first recipe in human history, and an element representing care, warmth and home in most culinary cultures. With the same - informative but warm -approach as the blog, I started hosting food events in Amsterdam. They are held in English and aimed mainly at the expat community, but also at locals who are willing to mingle and connect with internationals.
