• About me: We are an American family of five presently in the process of relocating from Tucson, Arizona, USA, to Dublin, Ireland. We have three children, two school-aged, and two scrappy labradoodles joining us, as well (the pet relocation process will also be documented in our blog). My husband will be working on his phd in Dublin for the next four years and our entire family is along for the adventure. This is not our first ex-pat experience - we also spent two years living in Melbourne, Australia, from 2006-2007, and my middle child was born there, as well. Given we have had so many questions along the way, during both experiences, I thought perhaps detailing our journey might one day assist other families facing the same questions. Hoping to connect with other ex-pats along the way!
