• About me: I'm an expat trailing spouse from Wales, who has spent the last 10 years turning relocation disasters into a worldwide traveling circus. Currently living in San Francisco, I've spent the last ten years routing through London, Nairobi, and Los Angeles, complete with 2 kids, 3 dogs and 2 cats. I have only once been upgraded on a flight. A complete tech novice, I started developing the Defining Moves website in response to never receiving the help and information I wanted when relocating, and hearing the same story from hundreds of other expat souses. The site inadvertently launched when I posted an unflattering picture of my son on Facebook, which linked back to the site. The next morning, I had 36 pageviews, 18 comments, a very irate son and an active website.. the rest, as they say, is history.
