I have lived in England for more than 8 years. While I was stationed at RAF Mildenhall, I met my English husband and decided to separate after serving 10 years in the United States Air Force. I learned that I was in an unique position because I knew what it was like being stationed here and living as an expat on my own in the UK. I love England and started my blog because I wanted the other Americans that were stationed here to love it too for their brief time here. It turns out other Americans that are pondering visiting here or moving here love my blog too! I feel that I am in the perfect position to write about these things as everyday I learn something new and try to pass that onto you so you do not make the same mistakes as I do! I have also just finished a Bachelors of Arts in History in Modern European Studies which came about because of all the research I was doing!
