As a stay at home mom and a trailing spouse, life in a new country (where I don't speak the language) is a constant adventure. We're having quite a time navigating the expat life while trying to keep our sanity as parents. We're also trying to see as much of Europe as we can while we're here, so that has meant travel to England, Ireland, France, Germany, Italy and throughout Austria . . . so far. Through it all, we've discovered that life is pretty much the same everywhere, but the little differences make for big changes. I try to capture the daily challenges and victories of this life abroad with kids, and share my lessons learned for anyone else out there crazy enough to try and take this on.
