• About me: Our Anglo/American family live in 3 different countries (USA, UK, Netherlands) on two continents, separated by distance, time zones, circumstance and cultures. When viewed by an outsider the quirks and oddities that define national character can amuse and bemuse in equal measure. As a foreigner these differences can be refreshing, enlightening or downright frustrating. It feels like everyone has the rule book but you. It’s a scary, enriching, challenging place to be.
