Originally, The London Diaries started out as a way for me to keep family and close friends back home in Kentucky up to date with what I was up to and what things were like for a Kentucky gal living “across the pond”. Since the first TLD post way back in 2009 the site has grown into so much more than that. TLD is chock full of stories, book and restaurant reviews as well as a sounding board for ideas and, sometimes, a cathartic exercise. Complete strangers are subscribing to, and reading (!!!) my blog and that’s honestly one of the most flattering things ever. Check back often for honest reviews, insight on London life as well as my own flash fiction and random ramblings. I don’t pretend to be some genius wordsmith, or even to be a fantastic writer. All I can do is write what I know in the way that I know how–with a little bit of wit, sarcasm and a dash of humility.
