- About me: Hi, I'm Romanian born now living in the UK. I've lived in 7 different countries and I continue to search for a permanent place to call home. I left Romania when I was 18. IO moved to Manchester, UK to study Law with Criminology. I later moved to Bristol where I met my now husband. We left the UK in 2017 to travel the world and find a new home. We lived in Hungary, Germany, Spain, Portugal and Japan and now we're back in the UK. I currently live in Harrogate where I continue to write about life as an expat.
