My 3 Tartlets

Directory > Europe > Germany
I'm an American Mama raising 3 tartlets and trying to figure out life in Germany. I cook, take photos and share life's moments from abroad. My blog is my diary and way to remember our adventure!

My 3 Tartlets

US American US American expat living  Germany

  • About me: Hi there! I’m the Mama of 3 Tartlets, an American expat trying to find my inner domestic diva in Bavaria, Germany. In 2009, I left my teaching job in the States to move our family 4,000 or so miles across the pond for the adventure of a lifetime. Going from a working stiff to a full-time ‘Hausfrau’ has been an adjustment, and who am I kidding, I’m still adjusting! My goal is to keep my 3 tartlets (9 years, 6 years and a wee little tot) and hubs happy, fed and supported in our new homeland without too many bumps in the road! Most of the time, I’m trying desperately to keep up with the tartlets, but in those moments I can break free – I love dabbling in photography, food, knitting (an ode to my Gramma) and whims of fancy (Lordy, I try just about everything) . I attempt to speak German, albeit terribly (my tartlets love to correct me), embrace (and try hard to understand) the culture around me and soak up as much as I can while living our adventure abroad!
