My musings on the trials and tribulations of being a foreigner in the country of Denmark, with frequent commentary on the many differences between here and home.
About me: I am a Canadian who moved to Denmark 3 months ago to be with my Danish boyfriend. I was working in as a registered nurse back home, but left my job, sold my car and most of my belongings, hopped in a '95 Ford pick up and drove from West Coast Canada to the East coast. Being a foreigner has had its ups and downs, but has been the craziest experience of my life, and that is what I blog about. I have been teaching myself Danish, and just started Danish school. I plan to see as much of Europe while I am here, hopefully get a job when my Danish improves, and could potentially be an expat for the next few years while my bf is in school. I would love to meet other expats in Denmark, but I also enjoy reading expat blogs from all over.
