  • About me: I’m a fairly average, middle class, English-American girl. I muck about in languages, and enjoy dancing and drinking tea. I’m also liable to patter on about dance classes, baking disasters, the adventures of traveling on a budget. I grew up in Marlborough, MA, and since graduating high school in 2006 I’ve let my wanderlust take hold. I interned for an MP in London, studied abroad in Bologna, Italy and managed to graduate with a BA (Hons) in International Studies from Dickinson College in PA. I then set off on a whirlwind six months where I learned a bit of Bangla in Dhaka, Bangladesh, worked in Acadia National Park, and learned the joys of holiday retail at home while also substitute teaching. I started 2011 off in a new country, moving to Rennes, France to finally become ‘fluent’ in French and work as an au pair.
